Christian Newswire/ -- Acclaimed Inspirational vocalist Steve Amerson will continue the tradition of singing holiday favorites on Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends" on Tuesday, December 19th. He is scheduled to sing in the final hour of the show and is slated to sing viewer favorite, "Where Else Would a Lamb Be Born," and promote his brand-new Christmas album, "We Need A Little Christmas."
"We Need A Little Christmas," Amerson's 19th album, is a collection of Christmas Classics featuring fresh renditions of 11 holiday classics like "Winter Wonderland, " Silver Bells," the title track, "We Need A Little Christmas," as well as the original, "Christmas Is The Best time of Year." For this new release Amerson returned to the studio with some of his closest friends to deliver this unique album including engineers, Bill Schnee (Steely Dan, Whitney Houston) and Toby Foster (Larnelle Harris, Pat Boone), Producer Paul Stillwell (Ralph Carmichael, The Walt Disney Company, Universal Studios Theme Parks) and arrangers Paul Johnson (Mark Lowry, David Phelps), Dick Bolks, Terry Winch (Ron Kenoly, Sandi Patty) and the late Bob Krogstad (Mel Torme, Michael Crawford).
A guest soloist with symphony orchestras around the country, and a sought-after session singer and voiceover talent in Hollywood, Amerson has sung on over 175 feature films including some of the biggest box office hits of all time such as "La La Land," "Star Wars Rogue One," "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom," and "Home Alone"; as well as such iconic television shows as "Cheers," "St. Elsewhere" and "Touched by an Angel"; and commercials for Honda, Texaco and Delta Airlines, among numerous others.
Amerson is also the worship leader for the historic "Capitol Worship," the first weekly worship service to be held in the United States Capitol in nearly 150 years.
Amerson, also known for his moving patriotic presentations, performs across the country for veterans and military service members at events including The Gary Sinise Foundation benefit, the American Airlines' Snowball Express to benefit children of military fallen heroes, and at Congressional Medal of Honor galas across the United States.
