WASHINGTON, Sept. 27, 2018 /Christian Newswire/ -- This week, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) appeared on Washington Watch with Tony Perkins, a national radio show which airs on more than 240 stations across the country. As a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Graham gave an update on the allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh and the proceedings to confirm him to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Senator Graham commented, "I will take the allegation and scrutinize it, be respectful to the accuser, but see if there is any verification. And I will compare that to everything else in the record." Sen. Graham continued, "Here's what I've learned; if you're a creep, if you abuse women, if you're a sexual predator, it happens a lot throughout your life... In Brett Kavanaugh's case, he has been in the legal circles at the highest level of government for 20 years and not one woman has ever said that he's done anything inappropriate toward them when he was in charge of their careers."
"I've been a lawyer most of my adult life. I've been a judge, a prosecutor, and a defense attorney. And here is what I can say without any doubt, the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh are 35 years old, they cannot identify the time when it happened or the location, and the people that were supposedly there denied that it happened. With that fact pattern you couldn't get a warrant, much less take this to court." Sen. Graham continued, "Judge Kavanaugh has been willing to testify from day one – he wants to clear his name. I am so proud of the fact that he has not quit. There is no quit in this guy."
