WASHINGTON, May 22 /Christian Newswire/ -- On Tuesday, May 29th, 2007, the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives will convene a Compassion in Action Roundtable with a discussion entitled, "Promoting Economic Development and Community Investment Through Public/Private Partnerships." U.S. Secretary of Commerce Carlos M. Gutierrez will participate in the Roundtable.
The panelists and audience will be comprised of business leaders, government officials, and social entrepreneurs who are pioneering innovative models of public/private ventures.
