WACO, Texas, June 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- In an effort to withstand the growing pressure on small and mid-sized adoption agencies to cut services or close their doors, nine Christian adoption agencies have joined together and created the National Christian Adoption Fellowship. The mission of the group is to promote Christ-centered adoption and child welfare services within the United States and abroad. The brand-new Website can be found at www.AdoptionFellowship.org.
"Not only will the fellowship revolutionize adoption in the United States, it will serve as a wonderful example of cooperation to our partners around the world," said Chairman Herbie Newell. "The Fellowship blends the strengths of each partner agency and gives increased options to our clients and at the same time preserves the personal touch our clients have come to appreciate."
Together the agencies have offices in 12 states and handle international adoptions in South America, Eastern Europe, Central and East Asia and Africa. They also provide domestic and embryo donation and adoption services.
The following agencies make up the National Christian Adoption Fellowship:
- A Helping Hand Adoption Agency, Lexington, Kentucky
- Amazing Grace Adoptions, Raleigh, North Carolina
- Generations Adoptions, Waco, Texas
