SAN JOSE, Calif., July 2, 2018 /Christian Newswire/ -- A new social network is celebrating Independence Day by providing an alternative to the liberal leaning social media outlets. Some would say the name is very patriotic, USA.Life. This social network "enables Christians to freely share life, liberty and happiness without being censored, whether they are on the right or the left."

"USA.Life is for all people who love America. Our founding fathers would use it instead of Facebook or Twitter, because Christians believe in freedom," said Steven Andrew, the founder. Andrew is a Silicon Valley technology leader, who has led large-scale Internet initiatives for Sega, Better Homes and Gardens and Cisco.

Andrew claims Facebook censored over 91 million people from seeing his Christian and pro-USA posts since 2016 when President Trump was elected. "When Facebook said they were cracking down on 'fake news' that meant they were censoring Christians, conservatives, family-values and patriotic beliefs," he said.

People who want freedom are quickly signing up to get their free account at www.USA.Life, so they get preferred usernames and updates.

He is also building a search engine, 1776Free.com, "to provide better results with Christian links that the tech giants censor."

Both sites hope to launch later this summer. Andrew set up a crowdfunding page with a goal to raise $778,000 to fund the completion.

Supporters get a special patriotic reward, such as their name credited in the computer code as "an American Hero" and a keepsake PDF to print and other perks, depending on what they give. For larger donations, individuals and organizations can get their name permanently on the founders wall on both sites.

"USA.Life social media and 1776Free.com search engine are needed to protect free speech. We will unite the nation," Andrew said. He believes Facebook, Google and Twitter divided the country by restricting Christians.

Using USA.Life, users can share photos, updates, news, videos and messages, and join groups. People can connect with "those most important to them."

"We value liberty and privacy. These sites will help people be safe, strong and blessed!" he said.

Andrew is working to have a community in the hundreds of millions of users. People from all over the world have signed up.

He provides an overview, assessment of risks to the project and answers frequently asked questions on the crowdfunding page at www.USA.Life.
