MEDIA ADVISORY, Jan. 8 /Christian Newswire/ -- At a rally in Rochester, New Hampshire on Monday evening, Mr. Obama stated he would be happy to talk with the activists after they staged a vocal public pro-life witness at the event.  (See enclosed CNN and MSNBC links)

The Christian Defense Coalition and Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust will hold a news conference outside of Senator Obama's Camp Headquarters on Tuesday, January 8, at 3:00 P.M.

The Obama Headquarters is located at 60 Rogers St. in Manchester New Hampshire.

After the news conference the pro-life activists will go into the headquarters and attempt to schedule a meeting with Senator Obama.

Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Washington, D.C. based Christian Defense Coalition, comments, "We are thankful for the kind words Senator Obama said about us last evening and his willingness to meet with us to discuss abortion.  Our hope and prayer is that Mr. Obama's comments reflect a true desire to have an open and honest dialogue on abortion and were not merely said as a political stunt.

"In our conversation with Senator Obama on abortion, we would ask him if he would have been pro-choice on slavery.  We also would share with him that abortion represents a tragic betrayal of human and civil rights as it represents the worst form of violence against innocent children and women."

Danielle Versluys, Director of Special Events for the Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, states, "Last night Senator Obama extended an offer to talk with us.  The Survivors accept Senator Obama's offer, and we sincerely hope that he will take the time to meet and discuss the urgent issue of abortion in America.  Senator Obama's current pro-abortion position is unacceptable to those of us who have lost 1/3 of our generation to abortion, and our plea to him is this: stop the war on the unborn, stop killing our generation!"
